Privacy policy

Your data stays on your device and in your private iCloud. We have no account system, no analytics, no tracking and no ads.
Where your data is stored
Everything you enter in ToteTally, including items, photos, sales, expenses and mileage, is stored on your iPhone or iPad. If you turn on iCloud sync, it is also stored in your private iCloud account, which only you can access. We never receive a copy.
No account, analytics, tracking or ads
ToteTally does not ask you to sign up or sign in. It contains no analytics, crash-reporting or advertising software, and does not track you across apps or websites.
The one network request
The app downloads a public, signed fee table file so marketplace fees stay current. This request sends no personal data. It does not include your items, sales or any identifier.
Camera and photos
The camera is used only to photograph items and to scan bin labels. Photos never leave your device, except when they sync to your own iCloud.
Purchases
Purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your payment details.
Exports and backups
CSV, PDF and .totetally backup files are created on your device. Where they go next is up to you.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
